Basic Job Description:
The role of the Spiritual Life Ministries Assistant is to help the Spiritual Life staff invest in and coordinate care of Third Culture Kids (TCKs), to assist in the facilitation of the campus-wide discipleship strategy, and to provide logistical and technical support to weekly SL Night programming.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and participate in weekly/monthly TCK programs and activities including TCK Big Bro/Big Sis.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of TCK Orientation in partnership with International Student Services.
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in semi-annual TCK Retreat.
- Assist in the management of TCK holiday/summer storage.
- Provide leadership and support to student intern(s) associated with TCK and SL Ministries.
- Work alongside Spiritual Life Staff to connect students to the Spiritual Life discipleship processes.
- Participate in the weekly SL Night planning meeting.
- Manage set-up/tear-down, projection media, and student intern rotation for weekly SL Night events.
- Attend and participate in Spiritual Life Staff meetings.
- Participate in personal, spiritual, and professional development with supervisor(s).
- Maintain scheduled office hours.
- Lead and participate in Spiritual Life events/emphases as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency/familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).

- Experience and skills in group leadership.
- Strong organizational skills.
Education and Experience:
- Completed Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience in student services or another related field is preferred.
