Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:30am-6:30pm

We are looking for someone who is interested in learning the accounting/administration side of the entertainment industry to start January 2nd, 2024. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of office experience, two years of bookkeeping experience, computer and word processing proficiency, familiarity with using standard office equipment, and can exercise good judgment in handling confidential matters. They should also be computer savvy, organized, detail oriented, a reliable quick learner, and motivated to take on new tasks and learn new processes as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Bookkeeping experience
- Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft computers, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Talent Payment or payroll experience a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Candidate will handle all Talent Payment related duties in our NY office and report to the Talent Payment Director. Duties may include, but
are not limited to:
- Daily bank deposits
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing
- Preparing daily mailings
- Collating
- Filing
- Data entry
- Database upkeep
- Email correspondence
- Payment processing as needed
- Weekly/monthly reports
- Research
- Collections
- Attend to other duties as assigned or directed by management
