The BUILD Emerging Leaders Program
Prepare yourself for the professional world through the Summer 2024 Whirlpool BUILD Emerging Leaders Program. As a Whirlpool BUILD participant, you can expect to discover core business areas, enhance professional skills, and boost business acumen.
The 2024 BUILD program will take place in-person.
In July, Whirlpool will host BUILD participants in person for an all-expenses-paid multi-day career trek at our Global Head Quarters in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
The BUILD Emerging Leaders program aims to expose historically underrepresented students who are interested in engineering, finance, HR, information systems, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and supply chain to career opportunities at Whirlpool. Students from all schools, and students who identify with a group that is historically underrepresented, including but not limited to Black, Hispanic/Latine, American Indian, students with disabilities, and veterans, are encouraged to apply.
Background requirements include:
– Be a sophomore at the time of application – have 2 years remaining in their education for full-time employment consideration
– Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
– Be a registered student pursuing a degree from a 4 year accredited institution

– Be a United States citizen or Permanent Resident
