We’ve experienced incredible growth over the last a few years, with no signs of slowing down. We’re looking for an experienced Marketing leader to lead the development of highly engaging, innovative marketing programs that fuel our growth and build brand equity in Korea.What does the job entail?Drive Korea Marketing internal and external teams to fulfill business development needs and build brand positioning & vision with the team Drive the development of strategic marketing programs in Korea that create and generate strong interest in Allbirds, and invite local consumers to be part of our brand communityPossess a deep understanding of the core Korea consumer, and find opportunities to increase our relevance through new brand partnerships, event integrations, influencer relationships and other cultural connectionsPartner closely with cross-functional leads, including our brick and mortar retail team, to share local-market insights and standard methodologies that inform the development of insightful + inspiring creative assetsBuild and maintain close collaboration with internal and external creative partners to ensure delivery of creative ideas that are brand-right and industry-leadingDevelop and deliver strategic media plans to support key initiatives through successful management of publishers and agency partners – stretching budgets without compromising brand perceptionRoutinely share program results, industry trends and creative inspiration with the rest of the team to help keep them consumer-obsessed and results focused.Effectively manage marketing program and media investment budgets in partnership with finance and the MD of KoreaManage external performance marketing agency and the budget allocated to performance marketing, so that we can optimize the revenue opportunities.What kind of person are we looking for?Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication, or related field from a leading university; MBA a plus4+ years of marketing experience, preferably with a lifestyle, footwear or apparel brandProven track record driving multiple streams of work – from brief through creative development to executionExperience managing people, agencies, budgets and contract negotiationsStrong collaborator, solutions-orientated, effective communicator – both verbal & written – and seen as a leader among peersAbility to extract insights from multiple data sources, and make informed, strategic decisionsPossesses a genuine love of pop culture and brand storytellingScrappy and excited about joining a small team to build something bigPast experience working for US brands with a Korea footprint is a plusFluency in both Korean and English is a must.DiversityAllbirds is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
