As a Remarketing Specialist you will provide quality and efficient customer service by performing administrative duties related to the remarketing of vehicle returns. Every call is an opportunity to use your communication and negotiation skills while working with customers, auto dealerships, vendors and financial institutions concerning SmartAuction transactions. You will work with other team members to ensure that the daily workload of the center is completed.What is Remarketing? We prepare and manage the dealer pre-owned vehicle inventory, which includes: dealer trades and previous factory auction purchases and title coordination for Online Auction Sales Direct-to-Dealer Sales Direct. The purpose of this position is to provide quality and efficient customer service by performing administrative duties related to the SmartAuction On-Line transactions. The position can include special projects or non-production duties based on business need.The Work ItselfBuilds effective peer-to-peer relationships in a team environment to meet operational needs.Communicates optimally and clearly on a daily, weekly, monthly basis with outside suppliers, customers and dealers to provide exceptional customer service regarding routine requests.Supports thorough quality, control and compliance programs to include an ongoing control/compliance self-assessment process.Responds promptly to client requests (information, data, letter generation, etc.) on an as needed basis.Handle call escalations and customer disputes.Communicate process improvements and standard methodologies as they pertain to SmartAuction.Identify issues or trends requiring immediate escalation to Value Stream leadership.Raise significant issues, trends or concerns immediately to the SmartAuction Management.Handles higher volume SmartAuction customers.Provides daily reporting to Supervisors and Management staff.Resolve issues affecting departmental operations, research possible solutions and provide recommendations to peers and supervisor.Allocate and monitor team work assignments for accuracy.The Skills You BringSufficient oral and written communication skills to clearly provide routine information to teammates, customers, dealers, or suppliers.Ability to build relationships peer-to-peer, with dealer customers and matrix partners.Computer skills sufficient to enter data on spreadsheets and communicate to internal and external customers.Some ingenuity and initiative required to collect information, coordinate activities with others, and resolve issues.Effective Negotiation & Sales skills required.Conflict Management skills required.Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.Significant Excel experience required.Who We AreAlly Financial is a customer-centric, leading digital financial services company with passionate customer service and innovative financial solutions.
