Intermediate Representative – Middle Office – Investment Accounting Operations
Provides accounting/operational support for investment managers/pension managers/mutual funds. Daily responsibilities include providing client support, researching and resolving differences between internal and external records. Processing accounting transactions to internal system(s) and ensuring the data/values communicated back to the client(s) are in good order to make investment decisions in global markets. Analyzing system-generated reports and data sets to ensure client’s funds are accurately priced and valued. Escalates any oddities or unusual activities in funds. Leveraging knowledge of financial instruments such as equities, bonds, derivatives, along with accounting knowledge of general ledger, payables, receivables to effectively communicate with internal and external groups. No direct reports. Responsible for the quality and completion of own work.
Bachelors degree or High school/secondary school and the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 0-2 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in accounting/investment management support or the mutual fund industry preferred.
