Blackstone Alternative Asset Management (BAAM®) manages approximately $79 billion across a diversified set of businesses, including a customized portfolio solutions business, a special situations platform, a business that purchases GP stakes in alternative asset managers, an open-ended mutual fund platform, and an emerging manager seeding business. BAAM invests across a variety of asset classes and strategies to create solutions for its investors. Blackstone Data Science:
Blackstone Data Science (“BXDS”) is the firm-wide team that uses advanced analytics and statistical methods to make us better investors and business operators. Integrated into our investing groups, we focus on data-driven questions that matter to business and can be solved through the application of data analysis, statistics, computer programming, and machine learning. We develop insights through alternative datasets and analytical methods to help fill in gaps in our understanding of specific assets and markets, as well as help source new investment and partnership opportunities.
BXDS is part of the firm’s Portfolio Operations Group. We work hand-in-hand with Blackstone’s deal teams and portfolio company management teams to drive operating efficiencies and identify new sources of value. BXDS is a team of data scientists, engineers, and strategists that analyzes complex datasets, develops predictive and analytical models, builds production-quality data flows, and advises on smarter data utilization. We sit at the intersection of quantitative and investment analysis, and focus only on projects that “move the needle.” You will have the opportunity to work directly with senior management at Blackstone as well as with top executives from our portfolio companies. Blackstone Infrastructure Partners is an active investor across energy, transportation, communications and water and waste infrastructure sectors. Blackstone Insurance Solutions
Blackstone Insurance Solutions (BIS) delivers Blackstone’s private credit and investment management expertise to insurers, helping those firms meet long-term policyholder obligations and drive shareholder value. BIS partners with insurers to deliver customizable and diversified portfolios of Blackstone products from our investment grade private credit, private equity, real estate, and hedge fund solutions platforms, as well as the option for full, outsourced management of insurance companies’ investment portfolios.
Tactical Opportunities (Tac Opps) is Blackstone’s opportunistic investment platform. Private Wealth Solutions
Private Wealth Solutions was established to answer the growing demand for Blackstone products from high-net worth investors. Partnering with many of the world’s largest private banks and wealth management firms as well as family offices, Blackstone’s Private Wealth Solutions team packages and delivers the full breadth of Blackstone’s alternative product capability to these firms and their clients and provides ongoing product and advisor support, as well as education and training around alternatives.
