SUMMARY
Assists in product development and analyzes and maintains marketing information to aid in establishing product offerings, cost, pricing and introduction recommendations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to new product ideas/suggestions from the field.
Assists in preparation of materials to conduct product line sales analysis for existing products as well as projection of sales for proposed new products.
Analyzes competitor information on quality, materials, cost/pricing and usage.
Performs market research to support efforts of various product task forces/committees.
Participates in market research and design for new and existing products.
Develops and conducts customer surveys to obtain marketing information regarding products and services.
Tracks product line sales and costs by analyzing and entering sales, expense, and new business data.
Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
Assist Marketing Project Managers with coordinate day-to-day activities that lead to the completion of projects and tasks.
Qualifications
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferably with Marketing concentration.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power point) for Windows 95/97.
