SEASONAL LABORER

(Seasonal – 2 positions)

The City of Dubuque invites applications for the position of Seasonal Laborer. This is a seasonal position with expected dates of operation from April 15, 2021 to November 15, 2021. The successful candidate will perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in the construction and maintenance of Public Works facilities and grounds; drive a small truck and operate specialized maintenance equipment; and perform other duties as assigned. High School diploma or equivalent; six months of lawn care, grounds or facilities operations or maintenance experience; possession of and ability to maintain a valid state driver’s license; or equivalent education and experience meeting the required qualifications for the position is required. The successful candidate will possess the ability to follow a management philosophy that is input oriented and values equity, problem solving and the development of partnerships; and the desire to be part of an organization that values service, people, integrity, responsibility, innovation and teamwork.
