Internship Program Requirements:
- Applicants must be enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate program and have a minimum GPA of 3.3
- Positions will require a commitment of:
- 20+ hours per week during the school semester
- 30+ hours per week during the summer session
- Must be responsible, organized, and goal-oriented
- Proficient at using Microsoft Word and Excel
- A proven ability to initiate and maintain strong personal relationships
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Please note this is a remote internship opportunity, although the possibility exists to work onsite in Hauppauge, NY.
Customer Experience Intern:
This role is a wonderful opportunity for a customer service-oriented intern with a knack for building strong relationships with customers over the phone. The position will involve inbound phone calls with our optical industry customers. In the position you will see firsthand how to deliver best-in-class service and how to initiate sales conversations in a wholesale, fashion environment. The intern will have a fantastic chance to grow in a professional setting, develop strong customer satisfaction skill sets, and take on interesting projects to enhance the customer experience. Our Customer Experience intern should have an interest in tele-sales, a solid customer-service orientation, a willingness to learn & assist, and experience using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. This is the right role for a Communications, Business Administration, Sociology, Psychology, Hospitality, Marketing, Human Development, and Liberal Arts major.
