Echo Lake Entertainment (THE GREAT, ALL THE BRIGHT PLACES, NEBRASKA, AWAY FROM HER, WATER, TSOTSI, & THE JONESES), is an independent production company, film finance, and management company. We offer an internship program for qualified applicants interested in pursuing a career in film and television production or literary and talent management. Interns will gain a working knowledge of the world of TV and independent film.

Daily tasks include script reading and script coverage, assisting executives with various projects (research, development, etc), shadowing executive assistants, face time with executives, presenting scripts read in company meetings, and learning the necessary skills to excel in the world of film and television. This internship is a good fit for someone who wants to get their feet wet in the entertainment industry. As a hybrid production and management company, we are able to offer our interns a unique and multifaceted look at the various elements involved in the creation of television and film.

You will be required to have your own laptop computer. Interns should be prepared to commit 2-3 days per week for 3 months for this internship. Candidates should possess strong reading, writing, analysis, and verbal communication skills, which will be developed further throughout the course of the internship. School credit only. Though the start and finish dates are a bit flexible, we do ask that you dedicate a minimum of 12 weeks. Our Summer cycle begins mid-May and ends September 2021. Applications for the Summer will be accepted on a rolling basis through April 14th.

THIS INTERNSHIP IS FOR ACADEMIC CREDIT. YOU MUST ENROLL IN A COURSE TO RECEIVE CREDIT.
