DIRECT CARE STAFF:

Independent Options, Inc.

Full-time, Part-time, Paid Academic Internship.

We are in search for compassionate, enthusiastic and reliable individuals to care for adults and elderly with intellectual disabilities in their residential care facility homes. Gain experience and have the opportunity to work with social workers, registered nurses, dietitians, physical, occupational, behavior, and speech therapists.

This is an entry level position.

JOB SKILLS:

Assist with Activities of Daily Living: bathing, grooming, dressing, etc.

Medication Administration

Meal Preparation and Service

Driving Services (if able to drive)

Community Integration

Basic Computer Skills for documentation of services rendered

QUALIFICATIONS:

Pre-Employment Physical with TB clearance

Physical Strength to meet training and certification requirements

Criminal Background Clearance

Current Drug Screen Clearance

Valid Picture ID

Immunization Record

DMV record clearance (if able to drive)

Caregiving Experience (preferred)
