Overview of Program As a Loss Control Intern at Keenan, you will gain an understanding of Risk Management and Insurance. The program will also provide you with a broad understanding of the services provided to help clients find solutions and best practices to improve and enhance their claims and risk management programs while ensuring regulatory compliance. Overview of Primary Responsibilities: During our Internship Program, you will- Prepare department products.- Assist in creating field service correspondence and preparing required deliverable materials.- Provide administrative support for department field staff.- Coordinate special projects as required by supervisor.- Assist department with interdepartmental resource organization.- Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance requirements in order to be able to identify, review and validate resource that we have and be able to organize them in files.- Assist with data input into inspection and service tracking logs. experience and being versed with smartsheets and excel is definitely a plus.- Safety and/or Workers’ Compensation regulations. Minimum Qualifications, Education and/or Experience: – Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year College or University, ideally in a degree program concentrating in Risk Management and Insurance, Business, or other related fields- Ideal candidates will be professional and congenial – with inquisitive personalities and the ability to think critically.- Must be comfortable interacting with high-level leadership via written communication or virtual conference.- Must be driven, self-starting, and coachable while demonstrating a high level of maturity.- Must be adaptable while working on various initiatives with different teammates.- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business documents, and a high capacity for learning is critical.
