DNC 250B Thesis Writing
Through dance at Mills College, we aim to move the edge of what’s possible. Our faculty of noted choreographers and scholars dedicates itself to training and enlivening the whole artist, and we invite students to relate their physical practice to their creative and scholarly work and allow each distinct way of knowing to inform the other. We believe that thinking bodies require moving minds. We also support contemporary artists as mirrors reflecting and altering pressing issues in and beyond the field. These range from social justice, embodiment, and presence and telepresence to life at the margins and utopian futures.
