POSITION: Adult Education; Secondary Summer School English II Teacher

LOCATION: Nashua High School (North or South)

WORK YEAR: 2021 Summer School

This is a one year position for the summer of 2021 only

SALARY RANGE: $25 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be certified in English Education with previous experience teaching adult learners.

Summary of Responsibilities

A teacher in the Nashua Adult & Community School is responsible for teaching courses using instructional methods geared toward the adult learner in a classroom setting. Teachers implement strategies that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences. While being positive and encouraging, teachers plan lessons and curriculum based on the learning needs of the student. Nashua Adult & Community School teachers are assisting all students to become college and career ready.
