Assistant Director, International Recruitment
Provide leadership for UNO’s international undergraduate recruitment and admissions initiatives. This position will maintain a strong partnership to assist the offices of Global Partnerships, Graduate Studies and ILUNO/IPD meet UNO’s international recruitment goals, specifically working on the execution of recruitment strategies via travel, partnerships and outreach. Establish and maintain relationships with sponsoring agencies, foreign and US governments, and international education organizations. Represent the university at recruitment events, foreign embassies/consulates, and conferences/workshops. Execute and operationalize marketing and communication plans to support recruitment and admissions campaigns. Exercise independent decision- making to achieve international recruitment goals. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Undergraduate Admission, who will provide guidance and direction, based on the overall UNO’s enrollment and recruitment plan.
Travel internationally and domestically to recruit international students. This person is responsible for complete management of their territory to achieve annual recruitment goals through the administrative CRM system, telecounseling and travel. Create presentations and conduct relevant information sessions to groups of international audiences. Provide guidance, communication, promotional information, and assistance to these prospective students, families, alumni, and other individuals or agencies that are associated with the recruitment process.
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Two years’ experience in international affairs, recruitment travel, marketing or admissions.
· Experience in data analysis and interpreting admissions trends. Experience with CRM systems or advanced communication technologies.
