The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a
Community Ice Coordinator
The Community Ice Coordinator performs event preparation and other duties related to the Holland Community Ice. Acts as liaison between the facility and tenants ensuring all tenant requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are followed. Also coordinates and supervise specific event-related events on the community sheet of ice. Ensures that the installation and maintenance of the ice sheets in the both the Main Arena and Holland Ice meet the highest standards of excellence expected by our tenants.
· Bachelor’s degree
· Prior experience in similar role or ability to demonstrate knowledge in operational procedures, ice maintenance, Zamboni driving and operation, facility capabilities, industry terminology, event-related services and technical requirements for types of events anticipated at the facility.
· May consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary Information: Commensurate with Qualifications
