GRADUATE ASSISTANT – Psychology
The Psychology Dual Enrollment (DE) Graduate Assistantship includes responsibilities in several areas. First, this position includes the oversight of all Psychology DE activities and services for the DE High School teachers. This includes but is not limited to: building relationships and maintaining regular communication with teachers, both in person and via email; assisting DE teachers with approval of and/or enrollment in graduate school credits; assisting with the approval of new DE teachers, including confirming teacher qualifications; oversight of ongoing teacher/school conformity to HEC requirements; reviewing and assisting with the approval of syllabi; organizing and overseeing high school student tours; helping to schedule guest speakers at high schools, when requested; maintaining consistent communication with DE teachers via email; scheduling and overseeing AP Review Sessions; consistent interaction with the UNO Dual Enrollment office. In addition, the DE Graduate Assistant may assist in the purchase and distribution of Departmental promotional product to DE teachers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, good time management skills, and the ability to work independently.
