The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) is seeking a Political Analyst (VNSMUS01181), a Senior Professional with degree in international studies, public policy, political science or law or related field; 6+ years of experience in international relations in international organizations, governments, political parties, legislatures, academia or think-tanks; and on political, security and ceasefire-related issues in an international environment or operational mission(s). Successful applicant will have ability to analyze and communicate clearly and concisely in writing and orally, will have a demonstrated commitment to gender equality and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different national and cultural backgrounds. Desirable: working experience in Eastern Europe or knowledge of region, with OSCE and/or other international organization, working knowledge of Ukrainian and/or Russian language(s), and/or mediation skills.
