Has broad project responsibilities to co-create and influence the strategic direction of the research work to be done. Initiates, leads, and still performs hands-on technology/capability/method development in order to deliver key technical initiatives, and can direct the Process technical work of others and lead cross-Job Family teams as needed. Includes all aspects of Process work from upstream product development, IP landscaping and prototyping to IQ/OQ/PQ of full scale manufacturing processes. Coaches individuals and initiative teams to apply the MOPD work process and uses all the appropriate MOPD tools.
We are looking for someone with a Master or Bachelor degree Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering:
* Prior experience in assembled products process development with web handling is desired. Most importantly the candidate should be able to onboard quickly to learn the technology.
* Knowledge of key R&D and Technical Community work systems or the ability to learn quickly (Risk Assessments, Validation Documents, ENOVIA, Veeva, etc.).
* Ability to travel is required. Travel to production sites is a regular part of this role and will vary within the scope of the project. Typical travel is 10 – 15%. Expect heavier travel during full scale development.
