The Operations Department Leader (ODL) is a critical role in the site. This person owns an area of the site with regards to production results (process reliability, schedule adherence, quality, and safety), morale (direct manager of department employees), vision for the future, and continuous improvement plans. The ODL is responsible for holding employees accountable and leading them through efforts to eliminate defects in the equipment and systems of the department. This role requires great relationship building skills as the ODL is the center of many organizational plans/efforts – initiatives, planning, human resources, engineering, etc. Preferred (skills / experiences) for the role: * Demonstrated track record for problem solving and work process execution strategies and solutions to drive standardization * Proven success in leading an organization to eliminate losses while improving morale Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role: * A bachelor or master’s degree in Business Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics or like experience * 3 + years experience in powder/grain manufacturing * 5-10% travel can be expected within the US Just so you know: We are committed to providing equal opportunities in employment.
