The P&G Chemicals Sales Team markets oleo-chemicals such as fatty alcohol, methyl esters, fatty acids, and glycerin to a variety of industrial accounts. Interns develop and lead joint business plans with our external customers and the P&G Consumer businesses.
Our interns achieve superior brand sales by demonstrating strategic skills, industry understanding, and proprietary research. Our internships are designed to provide an experience-based understanding of business development through real responsibility with targets, goals, and objectives. You must be able to leverage relationships and think analytically to unlock growth with our retail customers. Interns draw on creative and data-driven insights to shape business strategy.
Responsibilities during the internship include achieving competitive presence of our brands at assigned accounts. Interns are expected to learn and apply conceptual selling techniques and data-based presentations. Additionally, interns are assigned special projects to complete and make meaningful contributions to the growth of our brands by completing business analyses and participating in account presentations.
Requirements (skills/experiences) for the role:
* Be in their Junior year of an Undergraduate degree program (must be in good academic standing)
* Have a valid driver’s license
* Be willing to travel on the job and relocate throughout their career
* Have education or experience in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field (preferred but not required)
