Your Day to Day:
We aim to attract and develop the next generation of business and technology leaders at Prudential. Data analytics and fluency are critical to drive business results and operations.
As a Data & Business Analyst Intern, your role goes beyond the numbers and translates data into strategic storytelling that can drive impact and change. You will work side-by-side with talented people, receive significant exposure to senior leadership, participate in targeted trainings, all while gaining hands-on experience in our Asset Management & Financial Management Corporate Technology groups. You are given substantial responsibilities and will have the opportunity to present your newly learned skills and deliver on strategic solutions. Your summer experience could include a variety of business and technology projects such as:
Identifying solutions to complex business problems by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and systems requirements to enhance operational performance
Gaining exposure to external research, business systems and data tools that will help you further develop your career and analytical abilities including Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, R, SAS, Hadoop, Informatica, ETL, API development and microservices
Mining vast data stores to discover business insights and operational improvement opportunities
Planning and forecasting models, generating business requirements, creating functional specifications for systems development and designing tests to help define solutions
Managing information systems, building data foundations, understanding regression trends and performing data segmentation
Exposure to many business systems and data tools that will help you further develop your professional career and analytical abilities, while working with world class financial and/or actuarial application architectures

Your Desired Skills:
Pursuing an accredited bachelor’s program graduating between December 2022 and May 2023
Preferred majors include Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Business and Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics or and we welcome all other business or technical areas of study to apply!
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, R, Python, AWS, Text Mining Tools, SQL Server preferred
Strong PC skills (MS Office suite including MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook)
High curiosity, openness and willingness to learn
Demonstrated analytical ability and detail-oriented
