The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) is a Department of the City and County of San Francisco and consists of three essential service utilities: Water, Power, and Sewer. We are the third largest public utility in California, working in eight California counties, with a combined annual operating and capital budget of nearly $2 billion.
The position will support the Workforce and Economic Program Services Bureau of the SFPUC’s Infrastructure Division. The Workforce and Economic Program Services Bureau administers the SFPUC’s Project Labor Agreement which promotes efficient construction and facilitates communication and partnerships between the SFPUC, Unions, and contractors to efficiently deliver the SFPUC capital projects. Additionally, the Workforce and Economic Program Services Bureau manages and staffs the SFPUC’s Contractors Assistance Center (Center), a free resource for local, small businesses to access and participate on SFPUC contracting opportunities. The position will have the opportunity to work on both of these programs as well as doing some additional strategic planning. In order to be successful, this position must constantly prioritize among many issues and associated tasks; problem solve and demonstrate initiative; and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
This is a full-time position based in San Francisco though we are currently working remote. Salary range for this position is between $86,684-$105,378 annually.
