We are looking to create a pool for known and anticipated vacancies at both Pacheco and Baywood Elementary schools. Both are dual immersion (Spanish/English) elementary schools, using the 90/10 model.

A valid California Multiple Subject credential with English Learner (CLAD) is required. Applicants must be bilingual/biliterate in English and Spanish and hold a BCLAD (Bilingual authorization) or be eligible for an emergency Bilingual Authorization and willing to obtain full Bilingual Authorization.
There are two ways to demonstrate fluency which are approved by the CTC – a 4 year degree from an institution of higher learning in a Spanish speaking country and passage of the Spanish Language CSET (Test 147).
Out of state applicants must qualify for a Multiple Subject credential and demonstrate bilingual fluency in order to qualify for a temporary bilingual authorization. If you are selected, we will assist you in obtaining the appropriate documentation. Attach copies of out of state credential and verification of fluency.
Applicants who have not yet received their credentials MUST attach a status letter from their university showing the expected date of completion of the credential program as well as verification of eligibility for the bilingual authorization in Spanish.
*$5000 signing bonus is paid in 3 installments. $1250 with the first payroll of the 21-22 school year, $1250 with the first payroll of the 22-23 school year, and $2500 with the first payroll of the 23-24 school year and is dependent upon the teacher completing all requirements for the Bilingual Authorization in Spanish.
