The purpose of this recruitment is to fill current vacancies for Educational Interpreters for the Deaf at both elementary and high school sites in San Luis Obispo, and to establish an eligibility list for vacancies that may occur in the next six months.
Educational Interpreters at SLCUSD facilitate communication in the educational setting through the use of sign language, spoken English, and cultural mediation according to the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP), and perform related duties as assigned.
Starting pay is $33.54-$36.99/hour to start DOE
