The position is designed for a recent graduate with bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline. Studies will emphasize mouse models to study the function of a novel plasminogen receptor. In addition to performing animal models, the research technician will perform confocal analyses, immunohistochemistry, western blotting, cell culture and protein purification as well as other techniques for which the need arises during the course of the investigations and perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.
This position works in a laboratory or vivarium environment. Further details of the physical requirements of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemical biology, cell biology, immunology or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained. Requires 1-3 years experience. Candidates possessing a Master’s degree, 0-2 years experience required. Experience with murine models.
Compensation: $20.07-$25.06 per hour
