ABOUT THE POSITIONWe have more than 40,000 clients using our services to register, track and sell the SRECs, RECs, and AECs produced by their renewable energy facilities. Our client base ranges from residential homeowners to large commercial solar facilities to leasing companies. The Client Solutions Team onboards solar PV and other clean energy systems in our internal database and obtains the proper state certifications to sell SRECs, RECs, and AECs. A great deal of effort is required to qualify these facilities in the various states, and since the certification process is so complicated, answering client and installer questions is a crucial part of the onboarding process. Our team is also responsible for handling day to day client service issues and operational tasks.We are looking for an ambitious and process driven individual to join our Client Solutions Team. The position will require technical skills to understand the complex processes associated with our operations, the attention to detail needed to ensure that SREC, REC, and AEC certification applications are submitted to the proper regulatory agencies in an accurate and timely manner, and the ability to provide a high level of client services to our clients, installer partners, regulators, and vendors, all while possessing the ever-so-important knack for putting a smile on the face of our clients as you interact with them over the phone. The position will have the following responsibilities:Develop knowledge and understanding of SREC, REC, AEC, and other renewable energy markets, and of state and renewable energy certification rules and proceduresLearn the complex state solar and renewable energy certification rules and proceduresDevelop knowledge and understanding of the markets and how SRECTrade provides services to system owners and partners within the framework of each stateWork with clients and partners to assist them in understanding how the different markets functionProcess incoming applications in an accurate and timely mannerAssist in the state certification process of solar PV, solar thermal, geothermal and other renewable systems to participate in the renewable energy programs in the states of DE, IL, MD, MA, NJ, OH, PA, D.C., and other future statesCoordinate the registration of state certified systems in the appropriate tracking registryAssist with any other work necessary to process applications and to continue supporting our existing client and partner base, along with entering new states and marketsDevelop skills to provide prompt and excellent, daily client services via telephone and emailAssist in new client onboarding process including describing the SRECTrade application process and the Company’s servicesFacilitate client understanding and usage of SRECTrade online accountsProvide solutions to client inquiries about account status and transactionsRequirements: Excellent internal and external communication skills, verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor and a welcome presence with clientsBachelor’s DegreeExceptional attention to detailDesire to work in a high-volume client service environmentCan do attitude. Happy to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. Willing to take on ad hoc tasks and wear multiple hats if needed. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), PDF programs, and Salesforce is a plus
