Summary/ObjectiveAs a member of the lodging team, a Reservation Center Specialist employee will report to the Reservation Manager. A Reservation Center Specialist will have primary day-to-day responsibility to provide excellent customer service to guests calling to make reservations and to provide general information about Medora, the Medora Musical, and Bully Pulpit Golf Course.Essential DutiesIs able to make reservations for motels, golf, and a number of other Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation (TRMF) events.Provides excellent customer service while answering and returning telephone calls to assist guests with reservations.Must work quickly and efficiently on computers with various software programs.Maintains knowledge of hotel policies including room rates, discounts, special offerings, and events.Must be able to speak and understand English at a native level.Participates in workplace safety training sessions.Performs other related duties as assigned.Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. There are weekly goals for individuals and entire departments. Incentive plans start the week of April 12 and run through Sept 11th.Meeting Individuals GoalsEmployee audit checks are done.Appearance, timeliness of work are considered.Employees may not have a disciplinary problem from week to week at work or outside of work.Employees are paid accordingly based on the percentage of their daily sales.Employees earn 0.25% of sales based on the amount the employee sells that day.
