Valencia College is searching to partner with DMD/DDS graduates and experienced professionals as Independent Consultants for our Dental Hygiene School of Allied Health clinic located in Orlando, Florida. You will have the opportunity of checking patient assessments, consulting for oral pathology and local Anesthesia. Also to teach clinical procedures as needed or as assigned.

• Learning-centered statement: In order to determine an applicant’s proficiency in written communication and ensure the appropriateness of teaching assignments, a directed writing sample is required. In recent years college-wide research efforts, discussions and planning initiatives have been directed at making Valencia a more “learning-centered” institution. Please provide a 300 to 500-word description of what you believe it means to be a “learning-centered” college and how you would structure your course(s) to contribute to the “learning-centered” environment.
