Campus Resources | Women & LGTBQ+

Our office is a reliable resource for seeking professional support at the intersection of identity and career. Below are other valuable offices that offer support to women and the LGTBQ+ community.

Pride Center Resource List

For students, staff, and faculty to be supported in the classroom and workplace, they must be supported outside the classroom and workplace. With a directory of on-campus, local, and national resources, we intend to provide as much information and sources of support to meet the fundamental needs and aspirations of our U of R LGBTQ+ community.

Center for Gender Justice

This welcoming space is led by student interns offering discussions on the issues impacting women.

Queer Dictionary

This dictionary is a living document as it was first started in the early 2000s by Pride Center staff members. The definitions provided for the terminology included in this dictionary have been revised over the years. The language around LGBTQ+ identity and topics continues to evolve as culture shifts, understandings of gender and sexuality evolve, and more terminology is constructed that more accurately describes the LBGTQ+ experience.

Office of Equity & Title IX

The Title IX office ensures women have the legal right to be free from discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities. This office may provide more resources on your rights surrounding pregnancies, parenting, and participating in sports.
