We are looking for a part time intern to help schedule production staff utilizing an Excel model that is already built. It will require 10-15 hours of work per week with the possibility to work more hours on other areas if desired. Scheduling experience is not required. The intern will have the opportunity to question the model and provide suggestions to management on how it can be refined to provide better insight. Anvil is also in the process of going through an ERP change, and one of the requirements for a new ERP is a scheduling module that can take the place of the manual Excel model that is currently being used. Improving the current model will be crucial in our success with a new ERP system. The first few weeks will require some in office time at our headquarters in Slaughter, LA with the possibility to be fully remote after if the candidate chooses to do so. The position will report to the Controller, CFO, President, and Vice President.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be an ISDS or Accounting student
- Proficient in Excel
- Good communication skills
- Organized
- Willing to explore and try new tasks
- Positive attitude
Preferred but not Required
- Experience creating reporting dashboards
- SQL experience
- Experience with Microsoft Visio
- Data analytics background
