KATRINA WAN PR is seeking an intern who is hard-working, organized, detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will have a passion for public relations within the film entertainment industry. This is a very hands-on experience with a great opportunity for growth for the right candidate.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Updating and researching media contacts
Updating publicity status reports
Conducting phone interviews between A-List talent and press
Creating and updating production notes to distribute to press
Distributing mailers to press
Creating pre-premiere press documents including: Tip Sheets, Photo ID’s, Schedules, Reserved Seating Sign, etc.
Accompanying talent to local appearances including live television, radio and podcast tapings
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
MUST BE ABLE TO RECEIVE COLLEGE CREDIT
Must be available to work a MINIMUM of 20 hours a week spread over 3 days
Hybrid – Must be able to come to the office one day a week
Interest in public relations and/or the film industry
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to multitask
Research skills
Proficient at Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Cision / Muckrack experience a plus
